- Recycling. As a hotel, this is your regional obligation. Go above and beyond the requirements of your region. You could develop partnerships with other local inhabitants and businesses to find your own solutions where they do not exist.
- Bottled Water and More. Everyone seems to think that bottled water is so good for us, and the environment. Well, the reality is that 2 in 3 of those plastic bottles ends up in landfill. On top of that huge amounts of chemicals were used to produce the plastic and transport the bottles. Bottled water is an environmental disaster. Consider supplying water from a dispenser and other re-usable containers.
Saving energy, protection the environment and saving your costs makes sense. More often than not, all we need to do is change our habits, take a step back in time, and occasionally use a little technology.
